The oil contains a lot of useful components: vitamin E which combats free radicals that are mainly responsible for the aging process, vitamin A which prevents drying of the mucous membranes, squalene which is able to penetrate into the deeper layers of the skin and to strengthen the skin’s hydrolipidic film (weakened by sunlight and detergents), renewing the skin; unsaturated fatty acids, such as linoleic acid and linolenic acid, which prevent different skin disorders including eczema, acne, psoriasis and dry skin; beta carotene which gives elasticity to the skin; triterpene acids and triterpene alcohols which have a cicatrizing effect on the skin.
